The Nags Head Causeway Bridge is better known as the “Daniels or Little Bridge”.

This bridge has  a catwalk only on the south side of the bridge. North side was closed In the summer of 2020 due to pedestrian safety.

Anglers can still fish from the rocks on the northeast corner of the bridge. There is no parking or crosswalk. Extreme caution when accessing this area and crossing the road.

It also has plenty of parking, bath house, cleaning table and covered picnic area. This fishing area is great for families and physically challenges persons. Handicap ramps and easy access is available on both north and south sides of the bridge.

Many types of fish, crabs and shrimp can be caught from this bridge. Best times to fish are early in the morning and evenings.
