Fishing along the Southern Shores beaches is outstanding but unfortunately access to the parking and the beach zones are restricted to Property owners and guests.

Only property owners and their guests (including vacationers staying in Southern Shores Properties) may park on any town street or designated parking lot with an approved agency permit. Permit must be in plan view in the vehicle’s front window

Residents and all visitors must have an approved town permit may park in any area in Southern Shores.

Permits may be obtained through the Town of Southern Shores, Southern Shores Civic Association, Chicahauk Property Owners Association or through your rental agency.
